Suited for Solar- Joseph Abboud Suit Manufacturing Facility Goes Solar

Joseph Abboud Manufacturing makes 1,300 Men’s suits per day in America, and all of those are done at the facility in New Bedford, Ma. The unique building was designed and built in 1909, and has a saw tooth roof, some 43 of them. Each sawtooth faces 180 south and has an inclination of 22 degrees. This is a perfect application for solar. The system went live at the end of 2016 and was eligible for both ITC and depreciation in 2016, as well as qualified for SRECs under the SREC II program.
